Cookies, Web Beacons and Other Technologies

PLS web sites, emails, and other social media pages may store a file on your computer, known as a “cookie”, in order to persist information. Cookies can store information that identifies you, such as your name and email address. A website has access only to the information you provide. A website can’t use cookies to gain access to other information on your computer.

PLS may also use other technologies such as objects known as  “web beacons” embedded in our web pages or emails which allows checking that a recipient has accessed the content.  These  technologies allow PLS to better tailor our sites to provide better customer service and collect statistics. We may also include Web beacons in marketing e-mail messages or our newsletters in order to determine whether messages have been opened and links contained within have been clicked on.

Third-party social media links may log certain information such as your IP address, browser type and language, access time, and referring Web site addresses, and, if you are logged in to those social media sites, they may also link such collected information with your profile information on that site. PLS does not control these third party tracking technologies.

PLS web sites may provide links or embedded third-party applications that allow visitors to post content, join communities, or access other web sites including, but not limited to, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. Use of these links and applications is subject to the third parties’ privacy policies. It is your responsibility to review the third party sites' privacy policies before using the links or applications.
